Custom Micro Sites
An adjunct to a larger website, a Micro site is designed to meet separate objectives from the corporate site. It can be used for special events, such as a screening mechanism for an invitational open house, a vehicle to highlight recent college grad opportunities utilizing domain-screening techniques, or perhaps as an intranet site promoting an ERP’s rules and regulations to employees.

Usually, Micro sites are designed to be no more than 2-7 pages long and are considered temporary solutions that can be put up and pulled down rather quickly. Additionally, Micro sites often possess unique, memorable URLs that are promoted instead of a company’s corporate URL.

Even though Micro sites are designed as standalone sites, they often link back to a company’s existing site taking advantage of pre-existing information.
